Are you an experienced project developer and mindful of the challenges in the current market place? Perhaps you are not convinced your employer will be in a position to “weather the storm”?

This company is headquartered in London but has several European offices, including 2 in Germany. This region is very much “on the up” and they are looking to double the team size with the top priorities finding experienced project developers.

This experience will ideally come from solar, storage or wind, but real-estate candidates will also be considered given the process is very similar.

Tasks include:

• You develop PV projects and actively promote the identification of suitable areas and market partners, evaluate and check project ideas and conduct contract negotiations
• You prepare offers and presentations and manage the approval and urban land use planning procedures. In addition, you skilfully conduct discussions with landowners, mayors and authorities
• You coordinate and lead internal project teams as well as external experts (e.g. planning offices and biologists).
• You negotiate important contracts independently. These include leases to secure land as well as contracts for use, design and urban development.
• Together with your colleagues from internal sales and the project engineers, you determine, analyse and evaluate the necessary planning documents.

The projects are all over Germany so location is totally flexible.

As is seniority – you could bring just 1-2 years relevant experience, but equally you might have 15+ years and in a senior / leading role. As such, the salary range is quite open (€70k – €100k+). What we can say however, is that there will be commission tied to MW that are developed (and paid at milestones) so the bonus element will be very lucrative…
