Senior Investment Manager – M&A & Project Finance
€90,000–€120,000 | Central Germany

Lead the deals that turn a solar developer/EPC into a fully-fledged IPP, with the backing of a growing international pipeline stretching across Europe and North America.

You’ll take ownership of complex financing and M&A transactions from origination through to close, working across solar, storage, and infrastructure assets. Deal flow is varied, some transactions are complex and cross-border, others quicker and more straightforward, so you’re not doing the same deal on repeat. You’ll sit within a small, senior team, so your input shapes outcomes directly rather than getting diluted through layers of sign-off.

There’s also room for this to be structured at Investment Director level for the right candidate, with a package to match.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead financing and M&A activity for renewable energy projects across Europe and North America, evaluating opportunities using advanced financial models and valuation methodologies. You’ll structure and negotiate project financing solutions alongside banks, investors, and financial partners, and manage the full lifecycle of transactions, from LOIs through to SPAs and SHAs. You’ll also oversee due diligence, working closely with project development, asset management, PPA, and finance teams throughout.

What you’ll need

• Extensive experience in Project Finance, Investment Management, Corporate Finance, or M&A within renewable energy
• A proven track record executing and negotiating complex financing and M&A transactions
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
• Fluent German and English
