Team Lead Technical Planning – Solar PV
Rebalance
Are you an experienced PV Engineer, looking for the next step in your career?
See yourself leading a small team in a fast-growing PV IPP?
Most roles at a leadership level, require someone bringing that experience with them, but here, and quite uniquely, my client is willing to consider someone who is looking to make that step up. So you just need to bring the relevant capabilities and show yourself as someone who can motivate, inspire and coach the more junior members in the team. Of course if you have the leadership experience already, then that’s a big plus.
Naturally you also need to bring the relevant experience in PV design, particularly utility-scale. As this is for German projects and a German team, it’s essential you are at least C1 language level.
Your tasks:
- You lead and coordinate our technical planning team in the area
- You take over the technical planning of the projects in Germany and prepare the necessary planning documents in the various development phases on electrical and civil engineering topics as well as GIS
- You are the most important contact person for all technical issues (GIS analysis, substructure planning and rough planning of the DC and AC side)
- You plan the use of electrical components such as modules, inverters and transfer stations while keeping an eye on the conditions on site
- You create module allocation plans and yield and shading analyses and constantly optimize the projects further
The company’s HQ is in the Frankfurt region and given it’s a leadership role, presence there is required, at least 2 or 3 days a week.
